歌舞伎町のナイトクラブでアコーディオンを弾いていた男が自作のリズムボックスを伴奏に使っていた、これに目を付けたナイトクラブのオーナーが量産してみたら全国のBARにバカ売れした、二人はこれは儲かる！と思い、共同でKORGという会社を作った。東京オリンピックの頃の話である。
